Fastrr Checkout is a checkout for Indian Shopify stores. Not a storefront builder, not a marketing suite, not a payment aggregator — the screen between wanting the product and having paid for it.
Why it exists
Indian ecommerce is mobile, price-sensitive, and heavily Cash on Delivery. A checkout built for a desktop shopper with a saved card and a fast connection does not survive contact with any of that.
So the defaults here are different. The whole flow is one screen because a page load on a weak connection is where orders die. There is no account step because nobody wants an account to buy one thing. COD is a first-class payment method with real controls, not a checkbox bolted on at the end.
What we will not do
We are not in the settlement path. Payments run through your own gateway account and the money goes from the gateway to your bank without passing through us. That is deliberate: it means we cannot delay your money, and it means a problem on our side is an inconvenience rather than a cash flow event.
We also do not treat your customer list as ours. The data belongs to your store, it is isolated from every other store on the platform, and when Shopify tells us you have uninstalled or asked for erasure, we act on it.
What we hold ourselves to
The figure on the pay button is the figure charged — totals are resolved server-side, never from the browser.
No order is marked paid without a verified signature from the gateway.
Card details are entered in the gateway's sheet and never reach our servers.
A store's data is resolved from its own verified session, never from a URL parameter.
Uninstalling revokes our access to your store immediately.
